One of the coolest items I bought at my last trip to New York was that shirt from Hollister. I’ll confess that I never paid so much attention to the brand, but (of hearing my friends talk about it so many times) I ended up going to the store on Fifth Avenue (one of the largest in Manhattan).

To be honest, the music inside the store was so loud that I just couldn’t stay inside so much longer. Another thing that I disliked was the amount of people inside the store. The fitting room’s line was SOOO BIG (everybody takes about forty pieces to try at once). Insane!

On the other hand, the clothes are amazing and fit you very well. Shorts, shirts, pants, accessory, even the perfumes are great. I bought three shirts and leaved! I wanted buy more things, but I just can’t handle the quantity of people in one store!

If you go to NYC and wants to visit Hollister, ok, will not regret. Maybe going to a less busy store (I think there is another one on SOHO) you can spend your dollars more calmly!

Um dos itens mais legais que comprei na última viagem à Nova York foi essa camisa da Hollister. Vou confessar que nunca dei bola para a marca, mas (de tanto ouvir meus amigos falarem dela) acabei indo na loja da Quinta Avenida (uma das maiores em Manhattan).

Pra ser sincero, a música no interior da loja era tão alta que não tive paciência de ficar mais tempo. Outra coisa que me incomodou bastante foi o tumulto dentro da loja. Muuuuuuita gente, a fila do provador estava quilométrica (o pessoal levava umas quarenta peças de uma vez). O negócio lá dentro é tenso.

Por outro lado, as roupas são incríveis e vestem muito bem. Shorts, camisas, calças, acessórias e até os perfumes eram bons. Comprei três blusas e meti o pé! Poderia até ter comprar mais, mas o tumulto era de tirar do sério!

Se você vai para NYC e quer visitar a Hollister, ok, não vai se arrepender. Talvez indo numa loja menos movimentada (acho que tem outra no SOHO) você consiga gastar suas doletas com mais calma!

Thinking of what to write for this last post in New York, I noticed that just can not synthesize what I’m feeling.

The only word that comes to my head is “thank you”. Thanks to my parents who worked so hard to be here today (they deserve it!) and thanks also to this beautiful city that inspired me so much.

The trip is over, but the desire to return and build roots here only increased. I’m speechless…

Pensando em o que escrever para esse último post em Nova York, eu notei que simplesmente não consigo sintetizar o que estou sentindo.

A única palavra que vem na minha cabeça é obrigado. Primeiro, obrigado aos meus pais que fizeram um esforço danado para chegar até aqui (eles merecem!) e o obrigado também para essa cidade linda que me inspirou tanto.

A viagem acabou, mas a sede por voltar e construir raízes aqui só aumentou. Estou sem palavras…
